A well preserved mummified creature has been discovered on Mars. The image was taken by the Mast camera onboard NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 3474 (2022-05-15T10:52:45.000Z).
The creature lies against a ridge and it looks like it dragged itself there before it died.
The hind legs are clearly visible as well as its head. It seems as the body is wrapped with some kind of fabric.
